亚博手机登录网址采用百度引擎7(Baidu 2)rajectory this year, being that she was really influenced by this glamour character, this alternate persona, and also because I think in the previous seasons, we ve always seen her attached to someone, whether that was Penny or Julia or her mother, there was always someone that she was worried about, or someone that she was living life vicariously through.“So it was really beautiful to be able to discover who Kady was as an individual, without a relationship or without a man, who is she? We really got to play with that and see how she grew and watched her really take on her own inner strength and who she is and her power.“The glamour character is Sam Cunningham, who is a cop. I think there s a similar strength that both Sam and Kady have. An innate strength, yet Sam is incredibly determined and very independent, and strong as an individual, but she also just has very strong convictions about what is right and wrong, and I think Kady is similar in that, but I think she questioned it, because, for example, she d do the wrong thing to help the right person — like helping her mom, but stealing things to do that.”Rick Worthy as Dean Henry Fogg“Dean Fogg has been doing a lot of self-medication. He s a very complicated man — I have had my homework cut out for me, every script that I get … Fogg, he is now a businessman really; he is in the business and politicking of magic. He has a very uncomfortable alliance with The Order, doesn t make him happy at all. At the end of season 3, as he does the ultimate chess move and blips in with Irene McAllister and Gavin and they siphon off the magic then blip out, I got quite a few, ‘What the f s?!’ Or, ‘What the Foggs?!’ — whatever you wanna use. What the Fogg!“That night, and online and emails, couple phone calls, people were like, Whoa! Man, I didn t see that coming! So, you re truly a bad guy then aren t you? He isn t a bad guy, just he s found himself in a position where he has to be in business with The Order. They have tremendous amount of power, as you guys know, and he doesn t like having to report to them but he has to.”Brittany Curran as Fen“I m the king … At the beginning of the season, the atmosphere is so saturated with opium that it s like, things are going awry, and we ve heard that Ember is back, our god, so we re just trying to find Ember … so she s just trying to figure out what s making the kingdom go awry.”Trevor Einhorn as Josh“Josh has become Isaac, the Uber Driver, or ride-share driver, whatever legal can let us use. And he is a five-star driver, always has waters, will definitely give you gum, mints … That is the biggest thing that I have going for me. The funny part about it is, he drives a Prius and wears a suit. So he really commits to it. And that s sort of where, he s ready for any sort of exciting adventure in his life.”Summer Bishil as Margo“I ve always been really shy, and socially awkward, so acting was always my safe place, and I d always wanted a character like Margo, but, you know, the industry wasn t changing as fast as I would ve liked to. When I was still pursuing work, there were a lot of stereotypes I was going up against, it was a lot of the same role, and I d always been desperate to play somebody like Margo. I didn t know if I could do it, because I m painfully shy, but you know, Sera and John cast me as Margo, and it s really changed my life. It s just opened up so much more opportunities and has allowed me to be seen in a way that has kind of emancipated a lot of the stereotypes I had to carry with me. I didn t even know how that had affected my psychology until I had to crawl out of that for Margo, just so that she could live. I had to break free of these unhealthy narratives that were limiting me and making me feel bad, and Margo really did that for me. It s been a really strange journey.”Hale Appleman as Eliot/The Monster“The monster is sort of kind of like the dark shadow of your inner child, who s been abandoned and has essentially no one to turn to. He s alone in this world, but for one singular special relationship, and for thousands of years he s been locked in this dungeon castle in which there s been one human life to take care of him, and when they pass, a new one comes through and takes care of him.“I always think of Let The Right One In, if you know that movie, where there s one person of significance who can kind of bear the brunt of all the needs that this being might need. And in the case of this monster, he s tacked to the bottom of this castle and held there because he s a danger to everything around him, but he doesn t necessarily even know that.“So he s kind of this innocent, but he has this hit list, this revenge mission this season.”John McNamara on the Library as a Fascist Power“Germany didn t happen overnight in the 1920 s and 30s. France didn t fall under fascist rule overnight. It s always a series of very small choices, and what I kind of like about this season is, it doesn t start with armed guards storming in and taking over the library — that s, I think, a child s version of fascism. What you re seeing is people with Library, who I think are at heart pretty good people, but they re perceiving the fact that they don t have control as the problem. Rather than the problem is, there s always going to be chaos, and it s how you deal with chaos.“They want to eliminate chaos, so they have really good intentions in a way. And I m not saying that Nazis had good intentions or Stalin had good intentions, but I do believe that it happens in incremental stages, and it s a very slow roll this season. But a movie that I kind of insisted that everybody watch as a kind of inspiration is a French film from the 1960s called, Army of Shadows. Wonderful movie, it s all about the French Resistance, and what I liked about the movie analogously was because the director and writer had really been the French Resistance and had gone through all that first hand and had survived.“He told the story of how as a ‘good guy’ in the Resistance, I mean some terrible choices of who to kill, who to turn in, who to punish, and sometimes you re wrong and you have to live with that. And so we wanted to keep the morality — not ambiguous because obviously there is right and wrong, but that the actions you take sometimes to fight something that is evil, sometimes you do something to fight something evil, and then you have to ask yourself, ‘Well, why am I not evil?’ That s an interesting theme that runs throughout the entire season. The Library is definitely a growing fascist … virus.”The Magicians season 4 premieres Wednesday, January 23 at 9 p.m. on Syfy.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino s ninth film (if you count the Kill Bill movies as one), just earned him his highest opening-weekend box office, so it s safe to say mainstream audiences were primed and ready for another of the maverick director s stylized adventures. Currently sitting Certified Fresh at 84% on the Tomatometer, the rambling tour through the Los Angeles of 1969 ranks just below Django Unchained in Tarantino s filmography, marking only the latest critical hit in a career full of them. But what did average moviegoers think of the movie? Once Upon a Time currently holds an Audience Score of 72%, which ties 2007 s Death Proof as the lowest of any of his films. Is 72% a bad score? Not by any means, but considering Tarantino s reputation as a filmmaker, it indicates a certain level of dissatisfaction not commonly associated with his movies. With that in mind, we decided to take a peek at the user reviews to get a broader sense of how the moviegoing public at large responded to the film and suss out what might have brought that Audience Score down just a touch more than we expected. Check out the user reviews of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and let us know what you thought of the film, and these reviews, in the comments. (Note, some of the reviews have been slightly edited for length and grammar/spelling.)(Photo by Andrew Cooper / © Columbia Pictures)How does this compare to Tarantino s previous work? Not Tarantino s best. Sean W C, 2.5 starsThis is for the hardcore Tarantino fan. Good, but not mind-blowing.. Sean B, 3 starsIt was just OK. The most un-Tarantino movie he s made. Stephen M, 3 starsTarantino never ceases to make a masterpiece time and time again. The cinematics were pleasing, classic, and very on brand  If you are a fan of good visuals, excellent acting, and a compelling storyline with Tarantino s classic touches as the cherry on top, then this is the movie to see.– Zada, 5 StarsWhat a wild ride. The first two hours are definitely a different take from Tarantino, very different from his usual stuff. But the last 40-or-so minutes are unmistakably Tarantino in full. Kyle, 5 starsI really enjoyed the movie. It was a bit different from Quentin’s other movies, but nonetheless the cast pulled it off. The movie kept me wondering, and then I really got to see what the tale was, and was immediately hooked and impressed. It’s safe to say Tarantino hasn’t lost his touch. I would like to watch it again. Jay A, 5 stars(Photo by Andrew Cooper / © Columbia Pictures)How is the pacing and plot?Terrible movie no plot, no entertainment value, just three hours of pointless dialogue. Wow, I don’t know how people enjoy this crap. Literally nothing happened until the last 20 minutes! Nothing! Do not see this movie!!! Matthew K, 0.5 starsNot his best work. Meandering and pointless. Very disappointing. David S,  2 starsThere really is not any character development or a main driving plot in the film. I would closely relate it to Pulp Fiction, in that it’s more of a series of random but loosely collected clips. A lot of people left the theater asking, “What was the point of this ?” I think the film would be more enjoyable at home when there is time to burn; there’s just too much dead time that could’ve been removed and made this movie ~1.5 hours shorter.  Daves_Ratings,  2 starsA little long. Could have cut out about 1/3 of the movie. Stephen M, 3 starsThis movie, to me, is a triumph. Although devoid of a clear plot/narrative, Tarantino crafts the dialogue and characters in ways which make it fun to watch. And although the second act tends to drag at times, the overall story is a blast to watch, along with incredibly written characters acted perfectly (especially DiCaprio and Pitt). Also, the incredibly entertaining first two hours and 15 minutes lead into what may be my favorite scene in a movie this year. David A, 4.5 starsI love Tarantino s attention to detail, nuance and creativity. The camera tells a story in every scene. If you like fast food more than well-marinated, slow-cooked steak, then this might not appeal to you. CO Critic, 5 stars(Photo by Andrew Cooper / © Columbia Pictures)What about the cast? The stars carried it. Steven B, 2.5 starsI enjoyed the movie, but it wasn t one of Tarantino s best. Great acting. Great camera work. Great sound track. But it didn t have the energy of Pulp Fiction or Kill Bill 1 and 2. Maybe I just expected too much. Gene, 3 starsMovie was enjoyable fun and Leo and Brad were electric together. Gina, 3.5 starsDamn fine filmmaking! I want a Rick Dalton movie, stat! Damien C, 4.5 starsA wonderful, meandering road with superb acting performances by both DiCaprio and Pitt that eventually leads us to one hell of an ending. If you re a Tarantino fan, or a fan of any of these actors, you should love this movie. Mike M, 5 starsDiCaprio Delivers yet Again. One of the best ensemble pieces in years. Brad Pitt was phenomenal and nuanced. Will see again. Siskel No Ebert, 5 stars(Photo by Andrew Cooper / © Columbia Pictures)And the historical context?Do some research before watching. A big overarching plot point in the film (which I didn’t know going in) is centered on a famous cult murder from the 1960-70 period. Daves_Ratings, 2 starsA good story, but it lacks most of the thrill and suspense often found in his films. The difference with this one is that it explores Hollywood as a past and present establishment more than creating specific stories with protagonists who set out to achieve clearly defined goals. Mark, 3.5 starsLoved the 60s eye candy from small, well-curated objects like Aqua Net hairspray and the ode to 60s neon signs  All in all, a wonderful stroll down memory lane (my era) by a director who has a unique personal style. Amy, 3.5 starsRecreation of the era and the story, cast, and characters will make you want to see this one again. Thomas, 5 stars(Photo by @ Columbia Pictures)What about that ending? The last 15 minutes were good. Too drawn out. Barry M, 2 starsI found the movie boring. The end was way too violent and weird. Very weird. Some people walked out early, and some people applauded the ending. It’s just a matter of personal taste, I guess. Donna W, 2.5 starsThe ending was a little disappointing and actually had some humor in it. Gina, 3.5 starsI don t want to spoil anything, but I was not expecting the ending at all. Zada, 5 stars(Photo by Andrew Cooper / © Columbia Pictures)Any final thoughts?I feel misled about this movie; it s Helter Skelter revisited. I do not think that I would have gone to see this movie if I would have known. Ray B, 3 starsThis movie is so much fun! Don t miss it. Tarantino, DiCaprio, and Pitt knock it out of the park. They will both get Oscar nods, well deserved. Can t wait to see it again and again. Warren W, 4.5 starsCheck out all of the user reviews for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Like this? Pictures)DC’s Shazam! led the box office with .45 million this weekend, on top of the .3 million it earned in early preview screenings. That was higher than projections. Even though that is the lowest opening in the DC Extended Universe, knocking the film for that fact would be like giving Ant-Man a hard time for not living up to the numbers of Captain America or Iron Man. Shazam! is a different beast than the mostly darker offerings from the DCEU, something that critics appear to dig. Shazam! has scored a 91% on the Tomatometer, just shy of the 92% of Wonder Woman. That is also higher than two of the Christopher Nolan Batman films – Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises – which are a universe apart from the current DC crop.Shazam! now currently owns the ninth-best opening weekend ever in April; that will be knocked back to 10th on April 26 when Avengers: Endgame opens. Among the 10 films that had the biggest ever April openings, the low bar for ultimate totals has been set by Fast and Furious (5 million) and 2010’s Clash of the Titans (3.2 million). The two best multiples among April’s top 10 were earned by A Quiet Place (3.74 times its opening weekend) and 2016’s The Jungle Book (3.52). Their Tomatometer scores were both 95%. Audience word-of-mouth looks to be solid for Shazam!, which bodes well for its future. The R-rated Hellboy is unlikely to eat into the DC hit s core audience, and if it can maintain a drop less than 45% it should be on track to earn at least 2 million, and potentially out-earn the original Ant-Man’s 0 million.Rotten Returns: Best Of Enemies Struggles to Find Allies (Photo by @ STX)The Best of Enemies opened with .5 million from 1,705 theaters, representing STX Entertainment s seventh-lowest opening per-theater-average. Critics were mixed on the the movie – it has a 52% Tomatometer score – and audiences didn t show up in impressive numbers. STX had a better month back in January with their Weinstein Co. pickup, The Upside, which remains one of the five highest-grossing films of the year with 7 million. That was the second-best tally (behind Bad Moms) for the studio in its nearly four-year history. The Rest of the Top 10 and Beyond: Stephen King Continues to Draw Crowds, but Can Sematary Match the Original?(Photo by Paramount Pictures)A smart bit of counter-programming from Paramount Pictures saw the newest take on Stephen King s Pet Sematary land in second place with million, despite a less than stellar response from critics. The movie received glowing reviews after its premiere at the South By Southwest Film Festival, but is now just barely Fresh with 61% on the Tomatometer. That is better than the reviews for Mary Lambert’s 1989 verion of Pet Sematary (48% with 31 reviews), but without strong word-of-mouth there may now be some doubt that the new movie can reach the .4 million that the original film made 30 years ago. (That is about 7 million in today’s dollars.)There seems little hope that directors Kevin Kölsch Dennis Widmyer’s version can match those inflation numbers off of a million weekend. Among eight horror films that have opened between million and million, only The Visit and 2005’s The Amityville Horror managed to pass million. (Each actually made .2 million.) Another two films – the 2013 s Evil Dead and 2015 s Poltergeist – appear to be more in line with audience response and dropped a respective 63.2% and 64.4% in their second weekends. Tune in next week to see which way Pet Sematary goes.(Photo by @ Universal)Meanwhile, another horror film is climbing the charts of the all-timers. Jordan Peele’s Us is now ahead of 2018’s Halloween after 17 days, with 2.3 million vs. the latter film s 0.2 million total. That’s the second-highest ever for a horror film. It also bested Halloween’s third weekend (.8 million to .8 million). Pet Sematary took some viewers away from Us this weekend but more people will still be talking about Us next week as it continues to forge a path towards 0 million. Its international total is 6.5 million. One film not headed to 0 million – at least not on the domestic front – is Tim Burton’s Dumbo. It is the 13th film from Disney released in over 3,000 theaters to drop 60% or more in its second weekend. With million after 10 days that puts Dumbo behind 1999’s Tarzan, Lilo Stitch, and Wild Hogs on the Disney charts. The film has made an additional 7.5 million internationally for a total of 3 million to date. It is going to need more than half-a-billion to break even.Good thing that Captain Marvel’s numbers are still looking super. Its 4 million domestic take is the 19th highest gross ever after 31 days of release. And the .6 million it earned this weekend is the 21st best fifth weekend ever. It is now the 37th film to cross the billion mark globally (and the seventh Marvel Cinematic Universe film to do so) and it continues to climb both of those charts. This weekend it also become the 30th highest-grossing film ever. This Time Last Year: A Quiet Place Began Its Record-Breaking Run(Photo by Jonny Cournoyer/Paramount)John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place opened to .2 million, beginning its run towards becoming one of the biggest horror films of all time. The Universal comedy Blockers came in third with .5 million and the Ted Kennedy drama Chappaquiddick opened in seventh with .7 million. Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One was just two days away from passing 0 million domestically. That movie s .6 million second weekend helped the top 10 films gross a total of 0.86 million with an average Tomatometer score of 60.9%. This year’s top 10 grossed an estimated 8.59 million and averaged 64.7% on the Tomatometer. On the Vine: Hellboy Offers Darker Fare, Little Riffs on Big(Photo by Eli Joshua Ade /@ Universal)If Shazam! was too family-friendly for you and you cannot wait until Avengers: Endgame, then Lionsgate’s reboot of Hellboy with Stranger Things’ David Harbour might satisfy your hunger for R-rated comic-book fare. Once there was Tom Hanks in Big, now Universal presents Regina Hall in Little, a modern reversal in every respect that sprung from the mind of 14-year-old black-ish star Marsai Martin. Laika Animation is back with its latest, Missing Link, and Aviron releases the adaptation of young adult novel, After. Then for one night only on Wednesday, April 10, you can see Terry Gilliam’s The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, a film 21 years in the making. The Full Top 10: April 5-7Shazam! (Photo by © Netflix / Courtesy Everett Collection)2020 was an election year, so it s no surprise perhaps that even the Golden Raspberry Awards tilted heavily political with its new slate of nine Razzie winners. Across categories that included Worst Picture, Worst Actor and Actress, and Worst Screen Combo, the big winners/losers were pop star Sia s controversial musical Music (three wins), My Pillow Guy Mike Lindell s documentary Absolute Proof (two wins), and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, which took out two categories – Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Screen Combo – thanks to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani s infamous cameo in the Certified Fresh, Oscar-nominated sequel.Music, which has been the subject of much discussion due to its depiction of autism and casting of a non-autistic actress as the autistic lead character, took out Worst Director (Sia), Worst Actress (Kate Hudson), and Worst Supporting Actress (Maddie Ziegler); Absolute Proof, however, won the Razzies lowest honor, Worst Film, along with Worst Actor for Lindell. Other winners included Robert Downey Jr. s big-budget fantasy flop, Dolittle (Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel), and steamy Netflix thriller, 365 Days, which was named Worst Screenplay (as if anyone, even its fans, cared that the film even had a screenplay!).Plus, in a nod to the absolute s tshow that was last year, the Razzies gave a special Governor s Awards to 2020 for being the worst calendar year, ever. The nine categories were voted for online by 1,097 Razzie members across all 50 U.S. states and more than 20 countries. This week s Ketchup brings you more headlines from the world of film development news, covering such titles as Blue Beetle, The Running Man, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. This WEEK S TOP STORYACCLAIMED BLACK PANTHER WRITER TA-NEHISI COATES TO REBOOT SUPERMAN(Photo by Clay Enos/©Warner Bros. Pictures)This week was always going to be a big one for DC Comics, particularly Superman, because Tuesday night was when The CW debuted their new series Superman Lois, which is currently rated Fresh at 85%, and HBO Max announced that Zack Snyder s Justice League, which prominently features the character, will debut online on March 18, 2021. The biggest Superman reveal of the week, however, is that J.J. Abrams will produce a Superman reboot to be adapted by award-winning novelist and Black Panther comic book writer Ta-Nehisi Coates. Speaking about his new assignment, Coates remarked, I look forward to meaningfully adding to the legacy of America s most iconic mythic hero. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, this reboot is being set up as a Black Superman story that has roots in previous efforts, including one with Michael B. Jordan in 2019. No director has been announced yet, and the search for the new Kal-El has not yet begun (so someone like Jordan could still be in the running). In related news, Rachel Zegler, who will play Maria in Steven Spielberg s upcoming remake of West Side Story, has joined the cast of the DC Comics sequel Shazam: Fury of the Gods (6/2/2023) in a secret role.Other Top Headlines1. EDGAR WRIGHT TO REMAKE STEPHEN KING S THE RUNNING MAN(Photo by ©TriStar Pictures courtesy Everett Collection)Whether they were there for it as it happened (like this writer) or they discovered the era later, fans of 1980s movies likely see the decade as a bounty of riches. Even the movies that weren t your Ghostbusters, your Back to the Futures, or your Goonies can still be someone s beloved gems. Consider, for example, the 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger science fiction film The Running Man (Fresh at 64%), based on a novel written by Stephen King (under his pseudonym Richard Bachman). It s not exactly a direct adaptation of the book (mostly because the main character is supposed to be an everyman, and there s no world where 1980s Arnold Schwarzenegger would be considered an everyman ), but it has a legion of fans. Now, it sounds like director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) agrees that The Running Man deserves another go, because he is attached to do exactly that with an adaptation for Paramount Pictures that is expected to be more faithful to the source material. No cast has been announced yet. The Running Man was set in the year 2025, so pretty soon, it ll be time to start running! 2. DC SIGNS CHARM CITY KINGS DIRECTOR FOR ITS BLUE BEETLE MOVIE (Photo by DC Comics)Over the past several years, both Warner Bros./DC Comics and their competition at Marvel Studios have released movies that broke new ground in the interests of wider representation, both in the audience and on screen. For example, later this year, Marvel will be releasing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which aims to do for an Asian cast what Black Panther (Certified Fresh at 96%) did for a mostly Black cast. This week, WB/DC made a similar move towards a film with a Latino lead superhero with Blue Beetle, based on the second Blue Beetle, whose alter ego is Mexican American teenager Jaime Reyes. Warner Bros. has hired director Angel Manuel Soto (Charm City Kings, Certified Fresh at 81%) to develop the Blue Beetle movie with screenwriter Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer (Miss Bala). Reyes Blue Beetle will be DC s first Latino superhero to headline a film.3. CHRISTIAN BALE TO STAR IN EDGAR ALLEN POE MYSTERY THE PALE BLUE EYE(Photo by Jaap Buitendijk/©Paramount)Christian Bale is now attached to reunite for a third film with director Scott Cooper after previously working with him on Out of the Furnace (Rotten at 54%) and Hostiles (Fresh at 71%). The film will be The Pale Blue Eye, based on the novel by Louis Bayard about a series of murders that take place at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, with Bale playing a veteran detective investigating the murders, aided by a detail-oriented young cadet who will later become a world famous author, Edgar Allan Poe. Scott Cooper s latest film, the horror drama Antlers (10/29/2021) is scheduled to be released on October 29, 2021 after being delayed in 2020 by the COVID-19 pandemic.4. RYAN GOSLING WILL BE THE ACTOR(Photo by Elizabeth Goodenough/Everett Collection)Crime novelist Donald E. Westlake died in 2008, leaving behind a film legacy which includes Point Blank (Fresh at 92%), The Stepfather (Fresh at 88%), and The Grifters (Certified Fresh at 91%). Director Duke Johnson, who made his feature film debut alongside Charlie Kaufman with the intense animated drama Anomalisa (Certified Fresh at 92%), is now attached to direct The Actor, based on Donald E. Westlake s novel Memory. Ryan Gosling is also now attached to star in the film as the title character, a New York City actor in the 1950s who is beaten and left for dead in a small town in Ohio. Before Gosling signed on, Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Pietro from Avengers: Age of Ultron) was also considering joining the project.5. JULIA ROBERTS AND GEORGE CLOONEY TO REUNITE FOR 4TH FILM (Photo by ©Warner Bros.)Julia Roberts did not return for Ocean s Thirteen (Fresh at 69%) after co-starring in the first two films, but she and George Clooney did reunite for a third film together in 2016, namely Jodie Foster s Money Monster (Rotten at 58%). We can now report that Roberts and Clooney are now attached to star in a fourth film together, which will be a romantic comedy for Universal Pictures and Working Title called Ticket to Paradise. Ol Parker (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel) will direct the comedy about a divorced couple who journey to Bali to stop their daughter from getting hitched to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago. The screenplay is being written by Ted Melfi (St. Vincent; cowriter of Hidden Figures).6. TITLE OF NEXT SPIDER-MAN REVEALED(Photo by Sony Pictures Entertainment)We should start this particular story by noting that April 1st was not in this week (and also that April Fool s Day movie joke posts sort of became Internet uncool about ten years ago, anyway). Having said that, it s not like Hollywood studios make a habit of trolling their fans (though they could probably get away with it), so Sony Pictures probably gets a pass this week for their little bit of fun. See, what happened was that the three young stars of the next Spider-Man movie (12/17/2021) each posted a still from the film, along with what they claimed was the movie s title. Tom Holland s title was Spider-Man: Phone Home (as in the catchphrase from this movie), Jacob Batalon s title was Spider-Man: Home Wrecker, and Zendaya s title was Spider-Man: Home Slice. Except, of course, that those were all fake and the title will actually be Spider-Man: No Way Home, which suggests a story that follows the cliffhanger at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home. As for his future as Spider-Man, Holland also confirmed this week that Spider-Man: No Way Home is the last film for his (current) Marvel Studios contract, but if they want me back, I ll be there in a heartbeat. 7. NEILL BLOMKAMP DEVELOPING DISTRICT 9 SEQUEL DISTRICT 10(Photo by ©Sony Pictures Entertainment)South African genre director Neill Blomkamp experience a hot streak of popularity following his 2009 aliens living among us sci-fi action film District 9 (Certified Fresh at 90%), including  a period when he almost got to make one of the Alien movies. Six years after his third film, Chappie (Rotten at 32%), Blomkamp now appears to be returning to the setting of District 9 (or, at least, one district over from it) with the sequel District 10, which Blomkamp will direct and is currently co-writing. Blomkamp s writing partners on District 10 are Sharlto Copley (his District 9 star) and Terry Tatchell. Copley isn t yet confirmed to be starring in District 10, but considering where his character landed at the end of District 9, it s unclear how large a part he could have even if he did return.8. FLORENCE PUGH AND MORGAN FREEMAN TO STAR IN ZACH BRAFF S NEXT (Photo by A24)Zach Braff may always be best known for his lead role on the medical comedy TV series Scrubs, but he s also developed a career as a director, starting in 2004 with Garden State (Certified Fresh at 86%) and most recently including the 2017 remake of Going in Style (Rotten at 47%). For his next film, Braff has attracted two impressive stars in both Florence Pugh (Midsommar, Black Widow) and Morgan Freeman (one of Braff s Going in Style stars). Pugh will star in A Good Person, which Zach Braff is directing and writing, as a woman whose life falls apart after a fatal accident who forms an unlikely relationship with the older man (Morgan Freeman) who would have been her father-in-law. Pugh will also soon star in Olivia Wilde s second film as director, Don t Worry, Darling.9. RESIDENT EVIL TEAM TACKLING GEORGE R.R. MARTIN NEXT (Photo by Rafy/©Screen Gems courtesy Everett Collection)Fantasy and science fiction author George R.R. Martin is very much an old school writer whose legacy has now arguably been claimed by a series that is, relatively speaking, just a teensy-tiny percentage of everything he s written. Specifically, we re talking about his (yet unfinished) A Song of Ice and Fire series, which was adapted for HBO as Game of Thrones (Fresh at 89%) and spawned the upcoming prequel series House of the Dragon. One of the many other things Martin has written is the short story In the Lost Lands, a sword-and-sorcery fantasy, which is now going to be adapted by director Paul W.S. Anderson (the Resident Evil franchise) with his wife (and Resident Evil star) Milla Jovovich attached. Jovovich will star as a dangerous and feared sorceress who is hired by a desperate queen who teams up with a drifter played by Dave Bautista. Paul W.S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich also recently teamed up on another video game adaptation, Monster Hunter (Rotten at 46%), which opened back in December. On an Apple device? 3. KUMAIL NANJIANI CONFIRMS HE S GETTING A BIG BOLLYWOOD DANCE SEQUENCE IN MARVEL S ETERNALS(Photo by Nicole Rivelli/©Lionsgate)Although anyone who s familiar with Bollywood could have predicted it, many audiences were probably surprised when eventual Academy Award Best Picture winner Slumdog Millionaire ended with a big Bollywood-style musical dance sequence. Kumail Nanjiani confirmed this week that his upcoming big superhero movie, Marvel s Eternals (11/6/2020), will itself also have a big Bollywood-style musical number featuring about 50 singers and dancers. The set up for the sequence will be that Nanjiani s character, Kingo, will hide himself in modern human society by becoming a Bollywood movie star. The direct quote from Nanjiani was this: So I become a Bollywood movie star; that’s my secret identity. We’re supposed to keep quiet, and I’ve become the biggest Bollywood movie star. Kumail Nanjiani s other Eternals co-stars will include Angelina Jolie (Thena), Salma Hayek (Ajak), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari, the MCU s first deaf superhero), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos, the MCU s first gay superhero), Gemma Chan (Sersi), and Game of Thrones stars Richard Madden (Ikaris) and Kit Harrington (Dane Whitman, AKA the Black Knight). In related news, Christian Bale has been confirmed as playing the villain in next year s Thor: Love and Thunder (11/5/2021 .4. JON HAMM REPLACING JOSH BROLIN IN STEVEN SODERBERGH S KILL SWITCH(Photo by Netflix)As both traditional television networks and expanding streaming services continue to attract movie stars to work on series, it s becoming something of a trend that stars have to drop out of projects not because of other feature films, but because of TV. The latest example of that is Josh Brolin, who had been expected to star in director Steven Soderbergh s (Contagion, Magic Mike, Ocean s Eleven) next film, called Kill Switch. Instead, it will be former Mad Men star Jon Hamm who will take that role, as a cop who is trying to find a trio of criminals who carry out a home invasion, only to wonder if they’ve been double-crossed when the job goes sideways. Jon Hamm s co-stars in Kill Switch will include Marvel stars Don Cheadle (War Machine) and Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier), as well as Cedric the Entertainer, who also signed on this week. 是一款能够带给玩家燃情江湖历险的RPG手游,在这个奇幻的剑侠世界可以体验到无比热血的冒险,每个玩家都可以成为强力的修仙者
